Pick-Up and Drop-Off Procedures

Morning Drop-Off

  • Doors open at 7:25am. Please do not drop your student off earlier than 7:25am, as there is no supervision available.
  • Families will use the drop-off car line starting at the top of the bus lane; entering only from Bakewell. DO NOT turn left into the bus lane from Fairview St–only enter from Bakewell Ave (refer to picture for details).
  • Only enter the bus lane if there are no busses present. A staff member will direct you when to pull through the lane.
  • Pull all the way to the end of the bus lane to drop your student off, to allow for multiple cars to drop off at the same time.
  • Do NOT drive around other cars. Wait for other cars to unload before moving forward.
  • Caregivers must remain their cars. Students need to exit their cars on the PASSENGER side to ensure student safety.
  • If your student needs assistance getting out of the car (i.e., unbuckling car seat, opening door, etc) please park in a parking zone and walk your student to the flagpole. Please refer to the picture for parking and crossing zones. NO students will be allowed to use the crossing zone without an adult caregiver.
  • All families should plan on using the drop-off lane unless their student requires extra assistance. This limits the number of families crossing through the bus lane–allowing traffic to move more smoothly.
  • Please do not block driveways!
  • Please follow all traffic rules (i.e., school zone speed limits, driving/parking on the correct side of the road, etc)

Other Important Morning Info

  • We will have a morning assembly starting at 7:40 each day. We would love for all of our Falcons to be here on time to attend.
  • If you are dropping your student off after 7:45am–you will need to park and come into the office to sign your student in tardy.
